The owner of an incredible smile and an amazing charisma, Park Si Hoo made all of us dreaming of him in his last K-drama “Neighborhood Hero.” He began his entertainment career as a model, then made his official television debut in 2005. After five years in supporting roles, Park became a celebrity in 2010 with his acting in the romantic comedy series “Queen of Reversals” and “Prosecutor Princess.” He won an Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards for “Queen of Reversals.”
His success continued in 2011 with the historical drama “The Princess’ Man,” in which Park’s character is a man torn between revenge and love for his enemy’s daughter. He won a Top Excellence Award at the KBS Drama Awards for this role.
His last drama before “Neighbourhood Hero” was “Cheongdam-dong Alice,” in 2013. In 2013 due to sexual assault process (the charges were dropped later) Park’s career in Korea was temporarily stopped. In the meantime, he played in the Chinese movie “Scent,” directed by Jessey Tsang Tsui-Shan in 2014 and filmed the Korean-Chinese movie “After Love” with Yoon Eun-Hye.
In the “Neighborhood Hero,” Park plays a sexy former secret agent who wants revenge and succeeds to discomfit some influential people’s plans regarding a mall construction. We wish him Happy Birthday, a bright career and a lot of exceptional K-dramas.
