The autumn is about to end and with its last breath brings us some new K-dramas to warm our hearts.
On 7th of November “Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim,” a medical drama, will air on SBS every Monday & Tuesday at 10:00 pm. It has 16 episodes, and it is the story of Kim Sa Bu (Han Suk Kyu) who gives up an extraordinary surgeon career to become a neighbourhood doctor in a small town. He will meet Kang Dong Joo (Yoo Yun Suk) a physician who wants to be successful and Yoon Seo Jung (Seo Hyun Jin), a young doctor who try to forget her past.
“Father, I’ll Take Care of You” is going to air on MBC starting with 12th of November, every Saturday & Sunday, at 10:00 pm and it has 50 episodes. The drama is a family drama and depicts the story of a couple who come back in their hometown, after raising their four children. Main Cast: Park Eun Bin as Oh Dong Hee, Kim Jae Won as Lee Hyun Woo, Lee Soo Kyung as Han Jung Eun and Lee Tae Hwan as Han Sung Joon.
On MBC the first episodes of “Golden Pouch” will air on 14th of November, from Monday to Friday 10:55 pm. Finally, we are going to see Kim Ji Han’s handsome face again. “Golden Pouch” has 120 episodes and it is a family drama. The main story is the romance between Han Suk Hoon (Kim Ji Han) an ex-surgeon who becomes a dumplings master and Geum Sul Hwa (Ryu Hyo Young).
“Oh, My Geum Bi” will air on KBS2 from 16th of November. It is a melodrama which says the sad story of a father who takes care of his daughter who has a rare genetic disease named “childhood Alzheimer’s.” Mo Hwe Chul (Oh Ji Ho), is a single father trying to live without remorse. He meets Go Kang Hee (Park Jin Hee), a lady arborist who likes spending her free time searching for stolen cultural artefacts, and his life is about to change.
“Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo” will start airing on MBC from 16th of November, Wednesday & Thursday at 10:00 pm. The drama is inspired by the life of South Korean Olympic weightlifter gold-medalist Jang Mi Ran. For 16 episodes we will watch the story of rhythmic gymnast Song Shi Ho, weightlifter Kim Book Joo, the nutritionist Jung Jae Yi and swimmer Jung Joon Hyung.
“Legend of the Blue Sea” is inspired by a Joseon legend in which a fisherman captures a mermaid and releases her. “Legend of the Blue Sea” has its premiere on 16th of November, 18-20 episodes, and it will air every Wednesday & Thursday at 10:00 pm. The story of this series is about a mermaid Shim Chung (Jun Ji Hyun) from the Joseon era who comes in Seol and tries to adapt to the human life. Kim Dam Lim / Heo Joon Jae (Lee Min Ho) is a magistrate son in Joseon and a con-man in the modern days. Joon-Jae takes advantage of people using his handsome face and keen intelligence.
“Night Light” is about the fight between influent people for power and money. On MBC from 28th of November, every Monday & Tuesday at 10:00 pm, “Night Light” will tell the story of people’s desire and the sacrifices made.
“First Love Again” depicts Lee Ha Jin’s (Myeong Se Bin) story. She is a woman who tries to forget her first love. Cha Do Yoon (Kim Seung Soo), Baek Min Hee (Wang Bit Na) and Choi Jeong Woo (Park Jeong Cheol) have a complicated life story. K-drama will air for the first time on 28th of November, on KBS2.
