“Woman with a suitcase” – a visionary approach to legal cases

“Woman with a suitcase” left behind the typical way that Korean producers had made the Legal Dramas before. The main character is a smart paralegal Cha Geum Joo (Choi Ji Woo)  who makes everything easy for her lawyer colleagues, but she is scared of speaking in public and exams. That is why she didn’t pass her bar exams, and she is only a paralegal.

If course that there is a love story too. Because of her kindness Geun Joo has two admirers and seeing them trying to conquer her heart makes me laugh. Even for me would be hard trying to choose between Joo Jin Mo (well known from “Empress Ki”) and Lee Joon (“Vampire Detective” – 2016.)

Ham Bok-Geo (Joo Jin Mo) is a former prosecutor and has a publicity business. He tries to solve his last case as a prosecutor using all his resources. He likes Geun Joo and gives her a job at his lawyer company under the condition to became a lawyer as soon as possible. Ma Suk Woo (Lee Joon) is an inexperienced young lawyer who tries making a leaving. They will form a great team, and with Geun Joon precious help they will have real success.

The series airs on MBC, Mondays & Tuesdays at 10:00 pm. Enjoy!
